  • Guide singers and professional voice users with tools for musical performance and healthy voice practices

  • Researching effective voice habilitation practices and voice injury causes through certification in Vocology.

 

Cooking and Opera, DBA, United States - Owner

  • Collaborates with musicians, chefs, and content creators to promote wellness through music and food.

  • Produces multi-media content that activates classical music and its multicultural integration featured on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. 

The Lewis Prize for Music, Offsite - Head of Communications 

May 2019 - December 2024

  • Developed and implemented communication strategies for a $20 million philanthropic project, funding over 80 youth organizations in the United States and U.S. Territories.

  • Spearheaded communications engagement, exceeding recruitment goals by 60% with over 1,670 completed awards and grant applications.

  • Oversaw national awards announcement campaign and vendor contracts in Navajo Nation, Guam, Hawaii, California, Louisiana, and Michigan.

  • Worked alongside the CEO, supporting executive leadership with crisis management messaging, presentations, and strategic stakeholder communications.

African American Arts Institute at Indiana University - Road Manager

  • Managed performance engagements held both on and off-campus in collaboration with presenters, ensemble directors, and personnel assigned to engagements.

  • Lead ensemble warm-ups and support with repertoire selection and rehearsal facilitation.

 

Midori and Friends Music Foundation, New York, NY - Interim Program Coordinator

2019

  • Managed the Midori Music Program at 20 public schools in New York City.

  • Collaborated with principals, assistant principals, and appropriate staff to meet the artistic vision of each school program. 

  • Facilitated planning meetings, and worked with the Midori Executive Program Manager to evaluate activities at each running program.

Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL - Graduate Teaching Assistantship, Voice

2016-2018

• Operated a voice studio of undergraduate students to teach voice techniques and

assist in career preparation.

• Worked directly with the Program Director of Music Theatre to accomplish

curriculum initiatives and ensure student productivity.
 

The Sphinx Organization, Ann Arbor-Detroit, MI and New York, NY -  Liaison

2016 - 2018

  • Collaborated with the special events manager and development team to successfully execute logistics during the Sphinx Virtuosi performance and gala at Carnegie Hall.

  • Developed and implemented ideas with a cohort of liaisons dedicated to the Sphinx mission of transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts.
